When can you start using a weighted sleep sack?
Our gently weighted sleep sacks are designed for newborns through toddlerhood. Once your baby starts rolling over or is breaking free of the swaddle, it's time introduce the sleep sack. What does a weighted sleep sack do?
Sleep sacks help regulate your infant's body temperature, which keeps them from being too cold or too hot and makes their sleep just right! A sleep sack also eliminates the need for extra blankets, which helps keep your baby's sleep-space safe. Can a baby sleep on its stomach with a weighted sleep sack?
Yes! The evenly distributed weight is not intended to restrict your baby's movement. Also, our weighted sleep sacks are reversible. So, if your baby is a tummy sleeper, you can simply put the sleep sack on backward, so they still benefit from the gentle weight. Learn more about stomach sleep safety here!

How should a sleep sack fit?
You'll want to size your sleep sack based on your baby's weight and height. For safety reasons, you should never size up. Are weighted sleep sacks worth it?

What should a baby wear under a sleep sack?
Your baby can wear clothes under the sleep sack. However, it is not absolutely necessary. Many parents use a onesie or lightweight pajama, but it depends on the temperature in the room. To avoid the risk of SIDS, you never want a baby to overheat while sleeping. Our weighted sacks have a 1.0 TOG so that your baby can comfortably wear them year-round. I debated buying this for three months! I should’ve just got one right away when they were on sale while I was pregnant! But I thought they were the craziest things and that they were never going to work! Boy was wrong! The first three months of our newborns Life was very challenging! Six of the formulas, five different kinds of bottles and numerous different kind of sleep sacks! I was ready to try anything at that point! So a friend of mine asked if we tried the weighted sleep sacks and I said no. And she said she would try that because her little boy when he was younger, and he loved them! So we purchased one and we are using the swaddle And our newborn absolutely loves it! It almost feels like she’s being held and getting a hug. Her reflex does not wake up anymore in the middle of the night! So she can go 6+ hours sleeping before she wakes up! I wish they were not so expensive to be honest I feel like the price is definitely a little high! But the quality is definitely Great! I wish I would’ve bought two of them so we could rotate but right now we only have one! But otherwise, if you are in the same boat, we are, I would definitely purchase one and try it and see how your little one does!
