What is a transition swaddle?
A transition swaddle is a bridge between a traditional (regular) swaddle and a sleep sack. The transition swaddle has 1/2 - ¾ quarter-length sleeves that give your baby the feeling of being swaddled but without the restrictions of a swaddle. Read more about transition swaddles here.
Are transition swaddles safe?

I got one years ago without the arms for my now 2 almost 3 year old. It really helped her so I started my newborn out with one a lot earlier. She just turned 3 months old and I thought it was time to start working on her sleep training. By that I mean taking steps to start encouraging her to sleep all night or have longer sleep sessions at night. I cant say she has too much of a change she is only 3 months, but I can say she seems to have better sleep. I love that this one has weighted arms, it helps her since she still struggles to control her arms. She goes to sleep so much easier and faster now with the sleep sack I LOVE IT. When we are visiting family or home later and she doesn't get her full "nighttime routine" she almost refuses to go to sleep now without it. She will take cat naps but wont fully give in to sleep without it.

It’s been less than a week since purchasing the dreamland weighted transition swaddle. I didn’t expect a full nights sleep right away. Being that my baby is only 3 months. I was hoping for longer clusters of sleep . And thats what I got. My baby was restless and would wake up 2-3 hours in the night. Since the dreamland swaddle I have been getting 4-5 hrs of sleep without a fussy restless baby.

I haven’t transitioned or used this one yet but I have the weighted swaddle sleep sack and it’s the only way I can get my 2.5 month old to sleep 5-6 hour stretches at night. I’m very excited to try out this transition sack!
