What is Oeko-Tex® certification?
The Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certification guarantees products are safe and gentle on children’s skin.
To attain Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certification, the fabric has been tested and certified to be free from harmful levels of more than 100 substances known to be harmful to human health.
It is performed uniformly around the world by the independent OEKO-TEX® institutes and applies to textile products at all processing stages, from the thread to the end product.
Why is Oeko-Tex® is so important:
At Dreamland Baby, you're child’s health, and safety is our number one priority. There is no part of our product development process that isn't safety-focused, from working with the medical community to manufacturing our products.
The Oeko-Tex certification is critical because it ensures that any finishing applied to the fabric is free of harmful chemicals that are known or suspected to harm health, including lead, antimony, arsenic, phthalates, pesticides, and chlorinated phenols.
