I only buy my little one bamboo pjs and I would say even though I buy various brands they all feel the same. These feel different, still feel nice just not like all the other brands we get we I prefer the others. They look cute on, but I don't know that I'd say they are true to size. My little one is 17 months old and I ordered 2T and they fit perfect. I washed these and they have a slight smell, hopefully after more washes that smell goes away.
