What is a transition swaddle?
A transition swaddle is a bridge between a traditional (regular) swaddle and a sleep sack. The transition swaddle has 1/2 - ¾ quarter-length sleeves that give your baby the feeling of being swaddled but without the restrictions of a swaddle. Read more about transition swaddles here.
Are transition swaddles safe?
Transition swaddles an effective way to help your baby transition out of a regular swaddle. It is not safe to swaddle a baby once they show signs of rolling. Read more about transition swaddle safety here!
Are transition swaddles worth it?

My LO would only sleep in the Snuggle Me Lounger overnight until he was 7 weeks old. His naps were consistently 30 minutes and unless being held or in the lounger, he would wake frequently overnight. We got the Dreamland Swaddle from FB Marketplace and our LO immediately started napping longer stretches and slept in the bassinet without the lounger. As he was starting to roll to his side and get his arms out, we wanted to find something to help transition out of the swaddle. Without the weight on his arms, he’d wake himself after 30 minutes due to his startle reflex. We purchased this Transition Swaddle and after a successful daytime nap, we gave it shot overnight and it went great. We love this products and highly recommend.

We purchased the weighted sleep swaddle when my son was 1 month old and he recently just started breaking out of the wrap at 5 months old but he slept great from the first night we slept him in it until now. We loved it!! We had our first night sleeping in the weighted transition swaddle last night and it was a breeze. He slept all through the night and didn’t wake up until 5:00 this morning. I have loved both weighted swaddles and do not regret getting them! They are so worth the money and last a long time!

We didn’t get the transition swaddle for our first born but we did for our second, and it has made transitioning from a regular swaddle so much easier! Our baby girl definitely sleeps better with having the light weight on her arms and it’s nice that her arms aren’t cold from being exposed!
