A child must be over 30 lbs and have the ability to remove the blanket independently to prevent suffocation or other injury.

We have always used the sleep sack, and my toddler started sleeping all night. My husband and I decided that it was time to make a switch and try the blanket so we can transition out of the sack, and he has loved it! Slept all night long, and today he took a 3 hour nap! (Usually naps are about 1 1/2 hours) so this was a huge step!
