We used a more traditional swaddle for the first 4 weeks with our baby girl before switching to this one. I know it’s not the same for everyone, but our stretches at night got longer and she settled easier in them. She fought trying to get out of them like she had with others. We also purchased the sleep sack which we’ll move her to once we are done with the swaddle!

Soothes my baby when overstimulated, has option to be arms free or I can drape as a mini blanket when supervised to help settle reflexes. Washes well with my gentle baby wash & line dry. I see it as investment for next children as well.
